Christmas Tree drop off for after the Holidays

(JANUARY 2026)

After the holidays, you can dispose of natural Christmas trees at designated drop-off locations throughout the region. Each community has specific dates and sites, listed below. Please remove all decorations before drop-off.

Rothesay:

One day drop-off on Saturday, January 3rd:

·       Bill McGuire Centre Parking Lot

·       East Riverside-Kinghurst Park

·       Rothesay Arena

·       Entrance to Wells Recreation Field

Saint John:

Look for the ‘barricaded area’ at each location.

Locations open from January 1st to 11th:

·       Charles Gorman Arena – University Ave

·       Peter Murray Arena – Dever Rd

·       Forest Hills Ball Field – 651 Westmorland Rd

·       330 Charlotte St, South/Central Peninsula

Quispamsis:

Until Sunday January 11th:

·       Walter Jewett Field – parking lot, 18 Municipal Drive

Hampton:

Until January 9th, drop off your Christmas Trees at one of these four locations:

  • William Bell Drive – Previous site of blue bins by Service New Brunswick

  • Bloomfield Baptist Church - Parking lot

  • Nauwigewauk Community Centre - Below ball field sign

  • Central Kings Recreation Centre – Parking Lot by set up cones.
