REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION

Fundy Region Transit Plan

We are developing a region-wide public transit plan that outlines a long-term strategy for coordinated, accessible transportation across the Fundy Region.

The plan will complement existing services, respond to local needs and trends, and support a cohesive approach to future transit development.

REGIONAL TRAVEL ACTIVITY survey

The Fundy Travel Activity Survey (FundyTRAC) invited residents to share how they move day-to-day across the Fundy Region to help inform future transportation planning. The survey provided an opportunity for public input into regional transportation decisions.

Sustainable Transportation Week

Whether it's biking, walking, carpooling, or using public transit, sustainable travel alternatives contribute to a healthier and more connected region.

Regional Transportation Project Charter

The Charter provides a framework to expand transit options across the region, from demonstration projects to a long-term, integrated system aligned with provincial goals and the FRSC Regional Strategy. It also supports funding and planning efforts.

Image Capturing Enforcement

The Image Capturing Enforcement Business Case, explores how red-light and speed camera technology could be used in Fundy Region communities to reduce speeding and red-light violations.

It provides a high-level review of costs, alternatives, revenue potential, and key success factors.

TRANSPORTATION NEEDS in the region

In partnership with UNB's Housing Mobilization and Engagement Research Lab, we surveyed residents to identify transportation needs across the region. Results highlight opportunities to improve accessibility and connectivity, for more inclusive and connected communities.

REGIONAL RAIL WORKING GROUP

We're taking a significant step toward improving rail safety and development in the Fundy Region.

The Regional Rail Working Group addresses safety challenges, foster collaboration among key stakeholders, and work to mitigate community impacts.
