FundyTRAC:
Fundy Travel Activity Survey
The Fundy Travel Activity (FundyTRAC) Survey collects information about how people travel across the Fundy Region in their daily lives. This includes where trips begin and end, why they are made, when they occur, and what modes of transportation people use.
This type of study, known as an Origin-Destination Survey, is a key tool for supporting evidence-based transportation planning. By participating, residents help ensure that future transportation decisions reflect real travel patterns and community needs.
We are partnering with Dalhousie Transportation Collaboratory (DalTRAC), a national leader in transportation research, to deliver the region’s first comprehensive travel activity survey. DalTRAC has completed similar surveys across the country, including a survey for the Southeast Regional Service Commission.
