The Fundy Travel Activity (FundyTRAC) Survey is now closed.
The Fundy Regional Service Commission (FRSC) extends its sincere thanks to all residents who participated in the survey.
Survey responses are currently being compiled and analyzed. A summary report will be prepared and released once available. Further information, including timing, will be provided as it becomes available.
ABOUT THE SURVEY
The FundyTRAC Survey collected information on how people travel throughout the Fundy Region in their daily lives, including trip origins and destinations, travel purpose, timing, and transportation modes.
The survey was available online, as well as through paper copies and assisted completion options to help ensure broad public participation across the region. A prize draw* was also offered as an incentive for participation, in accordance with the survey terms and conditions.

Common questions

A travel activity survey gathers detailed information about how people move throughout the Region. This includes:
Trip origins and destinations
Purpose of each trip
Time of day
Mode of travel (car, transit, walking, cycling, etc.)
How often you do everyday activities and your opinions on travel and transportation
These surveys help build a clear picture of regional travel behaviour. They are widely used by transportation planners, engineers, and local governments to guide long‑term planning and investment.
By participating, you help ensure that future transportation decisions reflect real travel patterns and community needs.
To deliver this survey, we are partnering with Dalhousie Transportation Collaboratory (DalTRAC), a national leader in transportation research.

The results of the FundyTRAC Survey will support the development of the Regional Public Transportation Plan to be completed by the Fundy Regional Service Commission and broadly inform transportation and infrastructure projects within our region.

The Fundy Regional Service Commission is responsible for Regional Transportation, as well as Solid Waste Management, Community Planning & Building Inspection Services, Regional Public Safety, Community Development, Regional Facilities and Economic Development & Tourism Promotion.
Results from the survey will inform the development of the
Fundy Region Transit Plan,
supporting future transportation planning across the region.
