Spring Yard Cleanup Made Easy

Spring is here, and gardens are growing fast. When your compost cart fills up, use paper leaf and yard waste bags for the overflow. These bags are accepted as part of your regular curbside collection.

On collection day:

  • Place your compost cart at the curb

  • Set paper yard waste bags right beside it

  • Make sure bags are paper only; no plastic bags are accepted

Have branches or small sticks left over from yard cleanup? You can:

  • Bundle twigs securely

  • Place them beside your compost cart on collection day

Just make sure bundles are manageable in size so they can be safely handled by collection crews.

If you’re tackling invasive plants such as Japanese knotweed, they can still go into your compost cart. Our composting system is designed to handle these materials safely.

Thank you for composting, it truly makes a difference!
