New Planning and Building Application Portal Now Available
Service update for the Fundy Rural District and Fundy-St. Martins
We are introducing a new way to submit building, development, and planning applications online, making the process more convenient, secure, and easier to track.
Applications are now being accepted through a digital platform called Cloudpermit, which replaces traditional paper-based submissions and allows residents, builders, and property owners to complete and manage applications online from start to finish.
Through this new online system, users can submit applications for:
Building and Development Permits
Subdivision of Land
Amendments or Adjustments to a Rural Plan
Documents for Registration (Subdivision Exemption and Approval for Registration)
Requests for Zoning Confirmation Letters
The platform also provides several new features, including the ability to:
Apply for all planning and building application types online
Request inspections
Pay application fees securely by credit card
Track application status in real time, with automatic email updates
Submit revisions or request changes to an existing application

This transition is part of ongoing efforts to improve service delivery and make planning and building processes more accessible and efficient.
Community planning and building inspection services from the Fundy Regional Service Commission are available to all local governments and the rural district in the region. Currently, services are provided to residents of the Fundy Rural District and the Village of Fundy-St. Martins.
